Sintered NdFeB HRE-free magnets are high-performance permanent magnets characterized by a very low concentration of heavy rare earth elements (HRE), specifically below 0.1%.
Despite the reduced HRE content, these magnets maintain strong magnetic properties, excellent thermal stability, and reliable performance across a wide range of industrial and technological applications. They provide an effective and versatile solution for demanding environments where both efficiency and durability are critical.
Two configurations are available for HRE-free content up to grade REN52SH:
The table below summarizes the current HRE-free magnet grades that are commercially available, as well as those still under development.
| Br TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT* | % / °C | -0,10 / -0,12 |
| HcJ TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT* | % / °C | -0,40 / -0,78 |
*The temperature coefficients are nominal reference values only. They can vary for different temperatures and don’t need to be linear.
**The maximum operating temperature depends on the magnet shape, size and on the specific application. Maximum working temperature data shown on the catalogue are based on the international standard B/H = Pc > 0,7.
